For over 30 years The Bake Shop in Ghent has enjoyed a well deserved reputation for the most delicious wedding cakes around! Located just 30 miles from Cleveland and 10 miles from Akron, we deliver our exquisite wedding cakes throughout Northeast Ohio.
A wedding cake reflects your unique personality and style. You may choose a sophisticated elegant look, or show your playfulness and sense of humor with a whimsical style. Your cake also should fit well with the location, decorating, and ambience which you have created for your reception. Our artistry and experience enable us to create the perfect wedding cake for you.

Chocolate, white, yellow, marble, spice, banana, strawberry or lemon.
Wedding Cake Fillings
Fruit flavors: strawberry, pineapple, cherry, banana or raspberry
Pudding flavors: chocolate, vanilla, lemon
Icing for filling: chocolate, white, chocolate fudge
Wedding Cake Prices
$2.50 per person (100 servings=$250)
Steps, maids and groomsmen are included in the price – if returned
Water fountain $10 extra charge
Fresh flowers, furnished by your florist or our florist, are not included in cake price
Payment Terms
The Bake Shop in Ghent requires a $50 deposit upon order. An acrylic stand or fountain requires a credit card guarantee. Payment in full is due by the Tuesday prior to the wedding date. If you return all plastic parts of the cake to us within the week following your wedding, we will refund your deposit. You will be charged at cost for any plastic parts that are not returned to us within 10 days of your wedding.
Appointments
Please contact us to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available Wednesday and Thursday between 6 – 9 am and 2-4 pm. Sunday appointments from 10 am – noon. The appointments take 30 to 60 minutes.
Deadline
Your order and guest count must be finalized at least seven days before the wedding date.
